Interest to Russian language in Azerbaijan 'always high'

Russian language has always been increased in Azerbaijan and is still high, said Rector of the Baku Slavic University Kamal Abdulla.
Rector of the Baku Slavic University Kamal Abdulla and rector of the Russian State Humanitarian University Yefim Pivovarov spoke during the signing of an agreement on cooperation between universities.

Kamal Abdulla said that the interest in the Russian language has always been increased in Azerbaijan and is still high.

According to the professor, the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia play a great role in this matter.

'The warmer are the relations between our countries, the greater the interest in Russia is', Abdulla said.

Pivovarov noted in turn that national centers of the CIS countries to teach not only languages but also train specialists on any CIS region are being opening in Russia today.
